MY STORY

I began my tattooing journey in September 2020, and I cannot even begin to explain the feeling I had rush through my body when I received the opportunity of a lifetime - to learn tattooing. I had no idea how to do any of this but my love of being an artist made me want to know every inch about the world of tattooing. I definitely had zero knowledge of how hard this path was going to be though.

I have drawn as long as I can remember and it has always been my passion. When I was introduced to tattoos at a young age I had a dream to combine these two - I wanted to be able to tattoo my art onto others. I love the whole process of the creation of body art. To find the flow of the human body to make sure that the piece you are creating for every individual is personalized to their body to compliment it in the absolute best way.

I began my journey in Osprey Village, BC and learned how to tattoo - from the history, to the basics. A quiet neighbourhood in my hometown along the Fraser River. I was loaded with work to fill my mind & soul with all the knowledge I could about everything to do with this incredible career, the history, our machines, needle groupings, the incredible artists before us, the body, skin & depths, safety, the list goes on.. I would stay up almost all day everyday filling my mind with the tools I needed to set myself up for success. Running on little to no sleep everyday I would work my 9-5, then head to the studio until the next morning every evening. I did this everyday to prove that I earned this career.

This is the only career journey I was put on this earth for and I will love everything that comes along with it. The hard days, the laughs & the cries. The days always end with an accomplishment and when it doesn’t you learn from it. I have never in my life done something so difficult, yet rewarding and that is where I think the addiction of it all comes from. The constant desire to see yourself grow & succeed is something you cannot explain to anyone unless that person has also gone through it.

I have learned so much already in my career, I am so excited to continue that path of growth with each client that sits in my chair to create the most outstanding pieces with you and for you while getting to know you.

If you’re here on my page reading about me, I hope to be able to meet you soon. I cant wait to read your inquiry and possibly work together.

Much love always,

Paige Ponderosa xo
